KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK
  • BSc (Hons) in a Scientific or Technical discipline OR Significant experience within a validation, or technical role (e.g. Validation or Engineering role) within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Significant experience working within an established Quality System within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Sound working knowledge of EFU commissioning, qualification and validation in a GxP environment AND/OR Sound working knowledge of CSV, qualification, infrastructure testing and validation in a GxP environment
  • Experience of leading/mentoring a team of quality professionals with proven experience of project delivery.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Technical Quality Team Leader (Systems) will lead a team of Technical Quality Specialists & Senior Technical Quality Specialists to ensure compliance with the principles of GxP and Almac Pharma Services (APS) quality standards.
The role will be responsible for a range of Qualification and Validation activities within the Technical Quality department and APS business unit but will mainly focus on the governance of Qualification and Validation deliverables associated with Equipment and Computer System Validations. The role will also support the business to ensure delivery of Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.
The candidate will be regarded as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Equipment, Facility and Utility (EFU) qualification and/or Computerised System Validation (CSV) and will be vocal on project delivery while providing direct support and mentorship to others on the project team. An evident decision maker they will also possess strong communication skills.
