Our programs change people’s lives. The Idaho LAUNCH program provides grant opportunities to Idaho students graduating from an Idaho high school or equivalent to pursue training beyond high school. Additionally, there are grants for adults who are seeking to upskill or train for new opportunities. Idaho LAUNCH connects participants to training aligned to in-demand careers. As a Technical Records Specialist, you provide technical support for programs and organizational activities to convey information, determine compliance, and resolve difficult situations; uses expertise in the implementation and maintenance of technical program guidelines; perform related work.

Responsibilities

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

  • Assist fiscal team in entering invoices, processing payments, etc.
  • Composing letters for correspondence
  • Analyzing documentation
  • Gathering and preparing documentation for analysis
  • Maintain accuracy with data systems, including data entry and record keeping
  • Monitor emails, incoming requests, and reports
  • Ability to extract, transfer, and compile data for various projects
  • Explain requirements, processes and procedures to internal and external partners
  • Anticipate external customer needs
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Some travel may be involved
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAT LEAST 6 MONTHS OF WORK EXPERIENCE THAT INCLUDED EACH OF THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:

  • Monitoring record systems to identify and correct errors
  • Interpreting, explaining, and applying laws, regulations, and complex policies for multiple or highly specialized programs
  • Analyzing information and researching a variety of sources to identify and resolve problems or issues
  • Dealing with individuals from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds in stressful situations
  • Entering and retrieving data using a computerized record system composing and proofreading business correspondence
