The Technical Regulatory Compliance Engineering Specialist will support product regulatory compliance programs for Cat Technology including Automation & Autonomy systems through various activities that assist in managing compliance risk and ensuring compliance with applicable product regulatory requirements for intended markets. What you will do: Collaborate with product engineering to lead functional safety analysis on safety control systems Understand and stay current on product regulatory requirements, and related technology requirements, and understand application of same to Caterpillar products. Follow and utilize established processes and tools to collect, assess, and manage information in support of product certification and compliance. Identify continuous improvement opportunities for processes and tools used to manage product regulatory compliance risks. Collaborate with product groups, design control and operations to ensure the development, validation and production of product that meets applicable product regulatory requirements. What you will have: Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment. Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations. Collaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner. Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Top candidates will have: Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum. Extensive experience developing electronic systems Ability to create and use PowerBI dashboards for product regulatory reporting Working understanding of earth moving machinery ISO standards. Additional Details: This position requires the candidate to work full-time in one of these offices, Tucson, AZ, Mossville, IL or Irving, TX. This position will require up to 15% travel #LI Summary Pay Range: $128,470.00 - $192,710.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
