Job Summary As a Junior Consultant, you will support technical safety and risk projects by performing robust analysis, modeling, and calculations under the guidance of senior team members. This role offers exposure to diverse industries and projects, providing a strong foundation in safety engineering and risk management. Key Responsibilities Assist in technical safety and risk projects involving risk analysis, modeling, and calculations. Perform technically sound analysis based on defensible data and reasoned arguments. Support development of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) models using Excel spreadsheets. Assist in fire and explosion modeling, gas and smoke dispersion modeling using CFD or empirical tools. Conduct risk calculations (e.g., probability of events occurring) and non-flammable hazard analysis. Contribute to Escape, Temporary Refuge, Evacuation and Rescue Analysis (ETRERA) for offshore facilities. Participate in safety workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, ALARP) as a scribe and assist in client reporting. Prepare sections of safety cases and high-quality reports with clear diagrams and explained calculations. Support proposal preparation and attend client meetings as required Ensure adherence to Health and Safety protocols in all project activities. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s degree or professional registration is a plus). At least 3 years in safety and risk analysis projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks. Commitment to safety and willingness to travel for project needs.
