POSITION OVERVIEW

Boix Machinery USA, a leading provider of tray forming and packaging equipment, is seeking a skilled and driven Technical Sales/Service Lead to support and expand its operations in the Greater Lamington area.
This client-facing role blends technical service expertise with business development and requires strong experience in the installation, repair, and optimization of packaging equipment, particularly Boix tray forming machines. The position involves field service, customer training, inventory oversight, and acting as the main point of contact for Canadian based operations and service coordination.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Post-secondary certificate or degree in Mechanical Technology or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of hands-on service experience specifically with Boix machines, demonstrating a proven ability to deliver technical service, perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support. The ideal candidate will also bring strong expertise in tray formers, box erectors, or similar automated equipment, ensuring reliable performance and customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in:
· Mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repair
· Precision assembly and calibration
· Installation and commissioning of automated packaging systems
· Reading and interpreting technical schematics and diagrams
· Background in the corrugated tray forming industry preferred.
· Experience with welding, grinding, and tooling fabrication is an asset.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
· Strong communication skills and ability to document and explain technical concepts clearly.
Additional Requirements:
· Valid Ontario driver’s license.
· Willingness to travel up to 50% outside the Greater Leamington area.
· Ability to visit Kingsville warehouse location 1–2 times per week to monitor inventory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

· Deliver technical field service and support for Boix packaging machinery at customer facilities.
· Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
· Conduct machine audits and recommend system improvements or part replacements.
· Train customer technicians and operators on safe and proper use of Boix machines.
· Document service activities, client feedback, and technical recommendations thoroughly.
· Promote official Boix spare parts, upgrades, and preventive maintenance packages.
· Maintain high standards of customer service with timely and professional responses.
· Identify and pursue technical sales opportunities to support new installations and client growth.
· Coordinate with internal teams on parts procurement and delivery scheduling.
· Represent Boix at industry trade shows and events.
· Ensure all service activities comply with safety standards and Boix’s operational guidelines.
· Oversee and supervise all installations and commissioning of equipment imported to Canadian operations.
· Monitor project quality, inventory, and service performance across Canadian customers.
· Provide weekly reports to management on service performance and client satisfaction.
· Supervise and support the development of service teams and departments as needed.
· Authorize and organize establishment of field service staffing and logistics within Canada.
· Collaborate with Management, Sales, and Technical teams to recommend integrated solutions.
· Other duties as assigned by the General Manager and Regional Services Leader.
