FULL BODY:

We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales and Solutions Manager to join our Motion FPS team! This exciting role is your opportunity to make a significant impact by delivering tailored Value-Added Solutions (VAS) to our end-user, distribution, and OEM customers.

As the Technical Sales and Solutions Manager, you will play a critical role in enhancing customer satisfaction, expanding market share, and delivering high-quality, customised solutions. You’ll be at the forefront of Motion FPS’ VAS offering, which includes tailored assembly and kitting solutions across our key product categories:

  • Hose, Tube, Adaptors, Couplings, Valving, and Accessories
  • Fluid Power components, controls, and cylinders
  • Seamless integration with the wider Motion offering

You’ll also collaborate with our Motion Mobile Solutions team to meet customer needs through on-site services and ensure a holistic approach to Fluid Power solutions.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, serving as a trusted partner and subject matter expert in VAS offerings.
  • Driving Growth: Leverage Motion FPS’ strengths to expand market share and deliver tailored solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, workshop, operations, and management, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Project Delivery: Oversee tasks, jobs, and projects to ensure they are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget, while meeting quality and technical standards.
  • Workshop Coordination: Partner with Workshop Team Leaders to ensure all production processes align with safety and QA procedures.
  • Education and Training: Act as a VAS ambassador, educating team members and customers on the full scope of Motion FPS’ Value Added Solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • A strong technical background in Fluid Power or related industries.
  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to influence and build lasting relationships.
  • A solutions-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering value to customers.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and departments.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
