We are looking for a Technical Sales & Business Development Manager – Tank & Hold Cleaning to join our company.
Drive the growth of sales and profitability for Tank & Hold Cleaning products by expanding existing business and identifying new opportunities. Proactively hunt for new customers and actively pursue sales opportunities to strengthen the company’s market presence. Align customer needs with Cargo Solution products by developing and executing strategic plans, activities, and tactics that foster growth. Leverage in-depth product knowledge and technical expertise to deliver exceptional value to customers, including highlighting key selling points, guiding them through the technical sales process, addressing advanced technical inquiries, and closing deals effectively.

Who you will report to:
This position reports to the Head of the Technical Sales & Business Development of Tank & Hold Cleaning.
What you will be doing:
- Drive profitable sales growth by expanding existing accounts and securing new business for Tank & Hold Cleaning products.
- Develop and execute prioritized target lists and follow through with technical sales activities to close deals.
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers to integrate relevant Sales Product Groups into Sales Activity Plans, ensuring tangible actions are implemented and tracked.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, focusing on account growth and new business opportunities to meet targets.
- Progress opportunities in the pipeline and convert them into successful sales, including NBI (New Building) and DD (Dry Dock) projects.
- Utilize sales tools to identify and act on growth opportunities with target customers.
- Strengthen customer relationships through regular face-to-face engagement and multilevel account access.
- Work with Customer Service and Specialist Centers to ensure a cohesive approach to customer opportunities and growth.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Tank & Hold Cleaning products to support technical sales and customer interactions.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates in the CRM system and comply with all sales governance and risk management protocols.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent marine qualification preferred. Lack of formal education can be compensated by relevant experience.
- Preferably international sales experience in technical sales
- Sailing or other maritime engineering experience is preferred
- Results oriented and with demonstrated achievements in sales
- Experience of negotiating with customers
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with customers
