KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Minimum of bachelor’s Engineering degree required, preferably Petroleum or Subsurface Geosciences, or Information Management.
  • Minimum 10 years of Oil & Gas industry experience, in Information Management and Platform Technologies working for a major oil and gas service provider or an Operator.
  • Understanding of upstream data requirements and data management for subsurface, drilling, reservoir and production data and workflows
  • Understanding of advanced data analytics and data science and how they accelerate data management activities.
  • Knowledge data management KPIs and their meaning associated with respective activities.
  • Experience in responding to RFIs/RFPs and developing proposals.
  • Good technical writing skills
  • Experience with any of the following: Seismic Data Management, Borehole Data Management, Corporate Data Management systems and Cloud SaaS solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry leading data management solutions below:
  • OpenWorks, EDM, Recall, NDR solutions, OSDU, Petrel Studio, iEnergy Cloud, DecisionSpace® 365 SaaS solutions, DecisionSpace Data Foundation, DecisionSpace Integration Foundation.
  • Other E&P data management solutions experience a plus
  • Experience with AI/ML and applicability to data, ingestion, Analytics, Web services, GIS and data quality will be preferred.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers and their role as partners.
  • Familiarity with Cloud SaaS and PaaS platforms for data management and upstream Petro technical solutions
