THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Technical Sales & Design Associate to join our team. This role combines engineering design, sales, and project management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with people, and seeing projects through from concept to completion.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design and sell irrigation systems (pivots, linears, underground mainline, wheel lines, pumps, flood, and other systems).
• Identify solutions to customer challenges and present clear recommendations.
• Calculate system loss, size pipes and pumps accurately.
• Prepare proposals, manage project files, and input orders.
• Oversee installations and system start-ups.
• Train customers on newly installed equipment.
• Stay current through training, trade shows, and industry publications.
• Represent JW Kerns with professionalism and integrity.
