OUR OPPORTUNITY

Due to high demand and extensive growth trajectory, we are looking for a passionate Technical Sales Engineer/Estimator to join our sales team. Located in Narellan, some of the responsibilities include however are not limited to.

• Understand mechanical scope of work/s and review drawings.
• Offer technical solutions to our customers mechanical needs.
• Provide budget and fixed estimates/quotes from technical drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with customers on quote related queries.
• Work in a team to assist with key account planning initiatives, including high level negotiations.
• Assist in high level submission tenders and proposals.
• Represent NEPEAN at industry & trade events.
• Work with management to build and foster strong relationships with customers.

THE PERSON

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Possess a strong passion for engineering/ technical solutions.
• Strong experience in a similar role within the engineering, manufacturing, construction or mining industries.
• Heavy Fabrication and large-scale machining exposure desirable.
• Tertiary qualifications in either a trade, estimating, project management or engineering is advantageous.
• Role could suit an experienced tradesperson looking for the next step in their career.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Able to work autonomously and enjoys a team environment.
• Able to work with strong deadlines.
• Obtain a positive and professional attitude.
