To support continued growth in the region, Sigicom is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join the Utrecht office. In this role, you will work closely with the local team to drive regional sales activities, strengthen customer relationships, and build a sustainable sales pipeline. The position combines technical understanding with commercial responsibility, requiring both customer-focused communication and the ability to translate technical needs into tailored solutions. As Technical Sales Engineer, you will report directly to the General Manager in Utrecht and play an important role in expanding Sigicom’s presence and long-term customer partnerships in the region. The Role Drive business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities. Actively build and manage a strong sales pipeline. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers, expand business with them over time. Identify and pursue new market segments and customer groups within the territory. Proactively reach out to new prospects through outbound activities (e.g. cold calling, networking, and market outreach). Continuously explore and qualify new leads within the sales area. Position and promote the company’s solutions to new markets and provide consultative guidance to customers on best-fit solutions. Ensure all proposals align with company standards and pricing structures. Negotiate pricing within defined limits and in line with company policies. Follow up on offers and drive deals toward closure. Plan travel and customer visits to meet activity and performance targets. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system. Ensure compliance with internal processes, routines, and instructions. The Profile 5–7 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in technical or engineering industries. Experience in measurement, monitoring, or similar technical solutions is a strong advantage. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong ability to combine technical understanding with commercial acumen. Self-sufficient, proactive, and highly motivated. Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Structured and disciplined in CRM usage and sales reporting. Willingness to travel within the assigned sales area. Working Conditions Based in or near the Utrecht region Hybrid setup: 3 days per week in the office Regular travel within the sales territory
