Description
Responsible for the commercialization and promotion of RIDGID & GREENLEE products and solutions. Overseeing and directing the distribution channel in the region. This role involves strong leadership, setting sales targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building strong client relationships. The specific responsibilities and required experience include solid communication with operations, marketing, customer care, and credit & collections. This position includes traveling. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing national sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth. Build and implement annual business plans, executive reports, presentations, forecasts, brand initiatives, and project tracking plans. Communication Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Sales Performance: Monitoring and analyzing sales performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. Achieve annual sales goals while ensuring distributors optimize all ProAction benefits (discounts, MDF, and rebates). Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and other stakeholders. Market Analysis: Understanding market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform sales strategies. Budget Management: Managing sales budgets, expenses, and resources effectively. Reporting: Preparing and presenting sales reports, forecasts, and performance summaries to senior management is a constant. Develop and put into action sales strategies and marketing programs across the region. Who You Are: A professional who is dedicated to achieving results in sales and marketing. Skilled in building relationships with distributors and end-users to achieve common goals. Proactive in identifying growth opportunities and implementing effective solutions. Organized at managing multiple projects in dynamic environments. Show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations Ability to work independently and as an excellent teammate Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner. Establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Electric Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or a related field, and an MBA may be preferred. 5+ years of proven sales experience, with a focus on key account management, business development, or sales operations within the market. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential. Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Experience in the industrial tools & construction industry. Knowledge of inventory management strategies and distribution networks.
