We’re seeking a motivated Technical Sales Coordinator to join our client’s innovative manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity to start, grow or further develop your career in technical sales. Whether you’re a graduate or have relevant experience (especially with SolidWorks), you’ll work at the intersection of design and sales, identifying opportunities, engaging clients, and delivering tailored technical solutions that drive business growth.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in CAD, preferably SolidWorks with a practical design background.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proven or interest in sales is preferable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Confident working with customers to understand challenges and propose solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow up proactively.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a focus on business growth and development.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus!
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Act as a customer-facing technical representative for the business.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Use SolidWorks to design innovative, client-specific solutions.
  • Understand customer requirements and present viable, cost-effective concepts.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and technical presentations.
  • Support the sales cycle from initial enquiry through to design approval and handover to production.
  • Identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Work with the commercial team to help drive new business development.
  • Represent IPS-UK with client visits and trade shows as needed to support lead generation.
