RED Industries is a forward-thinking waste management company, delivering innovative solutions across the UK. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Technical Sales Graduate to join our Burntwood Head Office team.
If you’re looking to kick-start your career in the environmental sector and have a keen eye for detail, this technical role could be the perfect fit. You’ll be part of a dedicated team, supporting the waste approval process and ensuring waste streams are accurately classified and compliant with UK environmental regulations. With guidance from experienced Technical Assessors, you’ll build valuable knowledge in waste assessment and compliance, working hands-on with both hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
What you’ll be doing:

As a Technical Sales Graduate, you’ll support the technical team in ensuring waste streams are assessed, classified, and approved in line with UK regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing waste documentation, including SDS, WM3, and pre-acceptance forms
  • Assisting with sampling coordination and waste analysis
  • Supporting compliance with Environment Agency, ADR, and COSHH regulations
  • Helping maintain accurate records for audits and ISO standards
  • Gaining knowledge of permits, WAC, and treatment/disposal options
  • Contributing to NCR investigations and process improvements
  • Liaising with customers to gather and clarify waste data
  • Providing technical input to commercial teams and handling approval-related queries
  • Taking part in training and working closely with experienced technical staff
