Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in thermal management or related industries.
  • Good understanding on thermal design in data center with good exposure across all technologies.
  • Strong technical knowledge of high-density thermal solutions and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, articulation and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Possess strong ability in carrying out technical discussion
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Support Regional key account managers in positioning and securing strong mindshare of customers on our portfolio (Busway and Switchgear)
  • Drive and own product sales program within the targeted accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for high-density thermal solutions into regional key accounts
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, building strong relationships to understand their thermal management needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients, including product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations.
  • Lead technology discussions with clients to position Vertiv’s solutions effectively.
  • Drive the value proposition of our high-density thermal solutions to customers, ensuring they understand the benefits and ROI.
  • Possess strong solution selling experience, tailoring sales approaches to meet specific client needs and challenges.
  • Drive programs and initiatives to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Influence system-level design decisions by collaborating with clients and internal teams to integrate our solutions effectively.
  • Facilitate deep-dive discussions with customers to address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
  • Address engineering and design requirements to ensure our solutions meet customer specifications.
  • Position Vertiv’s solutions with a strong focus on technical-centric arguments, highlighting their superiority and benefits.
  • Drive collaboration with the product team to ensure customer requirements are well understood and supported.
  • Own technical engagement with customers on high-density thermal solutions.
  • Develop opportunities to increase the chances of winning new business and improving customer mindshare.
  • Drive strong influence in customer decision-making processes by focusing on technical value proposition
  • Collaborate with the engineering and product management teams or development teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and market developments.
