TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of one or more processes/systems of Direct Reduction and Iron Ore Processing;
  • Knowledge of process engineering for Direct Reduction Plant disciplines;
  • Knowledge and use of software such as Microsoft Office package;
  • Knowledge of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsibility:

  • Customer technical and commercial follow-up
  • Periodic visit to customers to check operations, collect technical information and to follow-up on technical requests that may arise from the client
  • Identification of possible technical-commercial proposal to improve the plant at Customer’s premises
  • Guidance of Technical Team and Technical Office in the design of the solution
  • Coordination with other members of Commercial Team for Technical and Commercial proposal preparation
  • Monitoring of initiatives ongoing in the market to help the Technical and Commercial team in the identification and the improvement of commercial offers
  • Support for activities of technical training at Customer premises

Direct management of the preparation of offers, which is declined in the following main activities:

  • Preparation of the contractual technical specifications, in collaboration with the Technical Offices in charge.
  • Preparation of commercial contractual sections;
  • Discussion and finalization of the above with Customers, by means of visits to Customers, managing the progress meetings of the offer.
  • Support to the management of the order in the case of contradictory interpretations of the various contractual sections.
  • Interfacing with external suppliers in the sector in order to obtain the technical and cost references to be integrated into the offer to the end customer.
