We manufacture products which help our customers around the globe, mainly in pharmaceutical and life science sectors, with technology which are critical to safe manufacture of their products. It’s an exciting business which helps make the world cleaner, safer and healthier.
We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to take sales responsibility for the regional growth and account maintenance of Purification Technologies products, in the Ecolab Purolite Resins business.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance the profile of Purolite Resins in the marketplace
  • Manage and develop existing accounts, in addition to seeking new business opportunities within the territory
  • Implement agreed sales strategies, and achieve objectives
  • Close liaison and cooperation with senior level colleagues to enable the customer to receive efficient and effective services
  • Feedback new potential business opportunities to the Senior Managers of the business.
  • Contribute to the building of the annual budget
  • Keep up to date with new developments within the business and industry
  • Day to day technical and commercial support of the customer base, including;
  • Technical competence in ion exchange product knowledge and applications
  • Troubleshooting customer problems
  • Handling customer complaints
  • Liaising and supporting other offices regarding product and client information
  • Handling resin sample testing/sample requests
  • Maintaining and circulating records within the department e.g. visit reports, quotation listings, tech, service/sample requests, etc)
  • Production planning input
  • Providing temporary cover of other UK sales areas in the UK Sales Office and support as and when necessary
