WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering

Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in technical-chemical sales, ideally also in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Ideally specialized in organometallic chemistry and homogeneous catalysis
  • Strong commercial and strategic mindset, negotiation skills, efficient networking
  • Experience in managing customer projects as well as internal projects

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a measured sense of understanding for sensitive and confidential issues with all levels of employees
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and make decisions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Initiates continuous and effective communications within the Sales organization

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • As a Technical Sales Manager with a strong customer focus, you will represent a first-class portfolio of precious metal chemicals and homogeneous catalysts in a globally operating company.
  • In conjunction with your travelling activities you will ensure a close support of our key customers, the development of new customers, participation in conferences and trade fairs to meet the defined business objectives.
  • Based on your partnerships with customers and market areas, your technical and commercial expertise, you will provide important impulses for innovation processes and the strategic development of our product portfolio.
  • You will continuously develop your network in the scientific, technical and industrial environment of our products.
  • Must be located in US- Eastern Time Zone
  • You will work with the international teams at our sites to ensure achieving targets.
  • Active traveling mainly in the US
