QSM ENVIRONMENTAL – TECHNICAL SALES POSITION

QSM is seeking a Technical Sales Representative in Arkansas. QSM represents leading manufacturers who specialize in the design & manufacturing of water & wastewater process, sludge handling, water control, and air emissions equipment.

As a member of our team, you would contribute to QSM’s mission by:

  • Develop & maintain relationships within QSM’s client sectors in the territory.
  • Understand the legislative and regulatory landscape of the territory.
  • Regularly engage in educational activities.
  • Educate QSM’s clients on the solutions QSM provides.
  • Participate in industry and community organizations.
  • Effectively communicate individual efforts as it relates to QSM’s product portfolio.
  • Maintain project & customer activity in QSM’s CRM program.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts to QSM’s Vice President of Environmental.
  • Provide design assistance to end-users and project designers in collaboration with QSM’s partners.
  • Provide logistical and on-site support to end-users and/or contractors during the product
  • implementation phase of projects.
  • Support end-users with aftermarket needs as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS in engineering, construction management, or business-related concentrations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel throughout the designated territory as well as occasional travel throughout the country
  • Professional in both behavior and appearance, and able to represent himself/herself and QSM with character and integrity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ambitious, self-starter with the ability to work with or without direct supervision after training.
  • Thrives in an environment that requires accomplishing goals and hitting deadlines.
  • 3 years of related, professional experience.
  • Experience with CRM’s
  • Understands the construction market including project delivery from conceptualization to completion.
  • Passionate about people with a desire to work through obstacles to assist with solutions.
  • Has a personal vision for the next 3, 5, 10, & 20 years.
  • Strong relationships in the territory.
  • Resident of the territory in which QSM is hiring.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This is an outside sales position; travel should be expected and required, as necessary
  • Occasional nights away from home, and in hotels will occur
  • An initial training period and various other training sessions should be expected and will usually take place for a number of days at a time
