We represent leading European and US manufacturers of water controls (such as taps and showers) for public places, specialising in water saving, hygiene and environments where intensive usage is normal.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Forde Hydrosafe are a leading distributor of washroom equipment for public places, specialising in water saving, hygiene and environments where intensive usage is normal.
You must have some external sales experience, and we welcome people from any industry. Stability is also important to us as we are building a team for the future.
We are looking for a talented individual who are seeking a long term stable and secure career, with plenty of opportunity to grow and develop.
The Role
As a technical sales representative you will have responsibility to develop and manage a range of customer types in your defined geographical area. The TSR follows projects from conception to completion, expected to visit all stakeholders from client and architect/specifier at the early design stages through to merchants and installers toward the end of the process.
The TSR has a structured week, Monday is a ‘phoning day’ from your home office booking meetings and following up with projects and customers. Tuesday – Friday is field-based visiting clients (20/week) and presenting technical solutions. Meetings will vary from brief interaction in merchant branches over the counter, to detailed design and specification meetings with professional specifiers and end users.
In your first year, we will teach you how to manage your time and structure your week to help you become a complete sales professional. We provide organisation, sales and technical product training, this is staggered throughout your first year to ensure that the ‘real-life’ application is fully understood.
Reporting to the Sales Manager you will have active help and support and will be accompanied in the field on a regular basis.
