Description

Our client, an established and growing company, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE role and an excellent long-term, career opportunity.

Duties & Responsibilities: ‍

  • Effectively deliver field technical sales support to customers
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Establish, develop and grow both new and existing customer relationships to maximize growth
  • Sales and territory management to meet set targets
  • Carry out action plans to identify and acquire new business
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry, competitor and product trends
  • Manage customer requirements and expectations for delivery
  • Prepare quotations and conduct follow-ups to customers to advance the sale forward and to close deals
  • Other duties as required

‍Requirements:

  • College Diploma
  • Fluently bilingual (English and French)
  • Must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of related experience in Canada
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Assets: previous experience with vacuum pumps and/or pumps, compressors, positive displacement blowers, and/or vacuum pumps and/or pumps; previous experience selling rotating equipment; technical background
  • Positive attitude, outgoing personality, great listener, and a team player
  • Proven sales, presentation, cold call, and relationship building abilities
  • Flexibility and able to handle pressure effectively
  • Solid organization, time management and a business mindset
  • Solid computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Home office location with travel to customers (up to 75%)
