ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a customer-focused and technically skilled Technical Account Representative to support our Professional End User (PEU) customer segment across New Zealand. Based in Auckland and reporting to the Retail & Locksmith Sales Director, this role is all about delivering trusted advice, tailored security solutions, and technical support to clients such as local councils, government departments, and infrastructure providers.
You’ll play a key role in managing existing accounts, solving technical challenges, and growing our high-security keying product portfolio through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide timely technical and sales support to end users and customers, resolving product-related inquiries and issues.
  • Understand customer needs and deliver tailored, consultative solutions while managing key accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Support the broader sales team with technical expertise and collaborate on opportunities to grow the high-security keying portfolio.
  • Conduct product training for customers and internal teams to build knowledge and promote correct product usage.
  • Manage projects and customer interactions using CRM tools to maintain accurate records and track progress.
  • Attend industry events to promote ASSA ABLOY solutions, strengthen relationships, and gather market insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, marketing, operations, and customer service—to align on goals and initiatives.
  • Monitor sales performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed to meet objectives.
