As a Technical Sales Support Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in bridging engineering, sales, and customer needs, developing bespoke system solutions, generating proposals, supporting project bids, and influencing technical specifications. You’ll be a go-to resource for the commercial team, helping customers understand the value, feasibility, and application of these complex and critical systems in real-world environments.

You Will Be…

  • Supporting the sales team with tailored technical solutions, one-line diagrams, and scope documentation.
  • Interfacing directly with customers, engineers, and consultants to influence specifications and system design.
  • Leading site inspections and translating findings into technical deliverables.
  • Preparing proposals, quotations, and formal bids with pricing, technical specs, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinating with engineering, service, and procurement teams to validate solution feasibility.
  • Educating the commercial team on technical product aspects and solution positioning.

What You’ll Bring…

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent UPS / power systems expertise
  • A few years of experience with UPS systems or comparable capital equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical fundamentals, NEC codes, and power system design.
  • Ability to read and create technical drawings (AutoCAD experience required).
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Previous hands-on experience in electrical construction projects or journeyman-level knowledge is a plus.
