TECHNICAL SALES & SUPPORT

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented person to provide technical sales support for our water and instrumentation product ranges. The role involves sizing and specifying equipment, answering setup and troubleshooting queries, preparing accurate quotations, and managing orders throughout the sales cycle.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in technical support or inside sales, preferably within water, utilities, construction, or instrumentation.
• Working knowledge of water networks and/or instrumentation, or a strong capacity to learn quickly.
• Clear written and verbal communication; organised approach to managing multiple requests.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Sage 200 an advantage.

• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email (selection, sizing, installation, and basic fault-finding).
• Recommend products and configurations across valves, meters, fittings, and instrumentation (flow/pressure/level sensors, data loggers, controllers).
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tender documentations in a timely manner.
• Process sales orders and ensure timely delivery coordination.
  · Work closely with suppliers to confirm lead times, availability, and technical specifications.

· Assist the external sales team with sales administration and client support.

• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and orders in the ERP & CRM packages.
• Develop strong technical knowledge of water network products
