We are seeking a Technical Sales Support Representative to join our growing team. This is a critical role for a motivated individual who can work across both office-based and field-based environments.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
  • Note: At least five years of relevant industry experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in technical or industrial sales
  • Strong knowledge of PPE, WHS compliance, and industrial safety equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to build and manage client relationships and deliver tailored solutions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • A current and valid driver’s licence (required for client site visits)
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Technical Sales Support Representative, you will be responsible for the promotion, demonstration, and sale of technical industrial safety equipment to both existing and prospective clients.

Your duties will include:

  • Identifying customer needs and providing product-based technical solutions
  • Managing a portfolio of industrial clients and developing new business opportunities
  • Conducting client visits, on-site demonstrations, and product training
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service and product knowledge
  • Meeting sales and gross margin targets
  • Reporting on sales activities, competitor trends, and market feedback

You will work closely with the DC Operations Team Leader, Inside Sales team, and State Sales Manager.
