Position Overview:
As part of the talented EMEA Technical Service team, you will be responsible for helping the Regional Service team & Germany country team to provide high quality technical support for Navico Group dealers, OEMs and boat builders. This role supports all Navico Group brands. Typical day-to-day responsibilities include answering technical enquiries via telephone and email, advising on system design, installation and product application, coordinating on board field service, handling return material authorisations, repair returns, warranty claims, helping to ensure KPIs and CSAT scores are within agreed targets and reporting field issues back to the T4 team for further investigation.

Essential Functions:

  • Direct dealer and boat builder support via telephone and email. Where required, entering data into various Navico Group IT systems
  • Working constructively with regional Service, Product Management and R&D teams to resolve product and technical related issues
  • RMA creation and overseeing returns and fault verification
  • Coordinating on board field service
  • Assisting with consumer and dealer training events
  • Constantly seeking out and identifying opportunities to upgrade consumers to the latest product offering.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service, preferably dealing with products of a technical nature
  • Confident in written and verbal English and German with Dutch or another EU language preferred but not essential
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong Computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recognised industry apprenticeship, BTEC, Graduate/Associates in an Engineering/Science discipline
  • Experience with boats, boating, commercial or recreational vehicles.

Working Conditions:

  • Willingness to travel, including overseas where required
  • Expectation to be in the local office 3-4 days per week unless travelling
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
