POTENTIALLY RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• A degree in food science, dairy technology, or a related field.
• Up to two years of experience in technical services, production, or R&D within the dairy industry.
• Familiarity with dairy culture applications, cheese-making processes, and sensory analysis.
• Competence in handling CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
• Frequent travel required – 3 days a week within the DACH region.
• Ability to adapt to different work environments.
• Ability to speak fluent German and converse in English

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Troubleshooting, innovation, and optimization in dairy, fresh products and cheese
• Focus of application support in cheese and fresh products (70:30 ratio cheese: fresh dairy)
• Customer service, recommendation of starter and ripening cultures, coagulation enzymes for dairy
• Customer service, adjustment of process parameters regarding processing steps and ripening (cheese)
• Sensory evaluations of dairy products with a focus on cheese and fresh products
• Statistical data analysis in process optimization
• Work according to the guideline “Trials and Sales excellence”
• Developing added value arguments in sales projects to support account managers
• Execution of application-related investigations within the framework of sales projects and existing sales, as well as their system management.
• Focus on on-site service directly at the customer using specialized equipment
• Analysis of milk coagulation, fermentation kinetics and product quality
• Handling of customer-specific requests in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Salesforce/ Technical Service Platform
• Representing Novonesis at industry events, preparing and presenting technical lectures.
• Organizing and delivering training sessions for both internal teams and customers
