Our extrusion plants have earned the reputation: “Built in Africa for Africa!” To support our continued growth, CFAM has a position available for a Technical Services Administrator responsible for the administrative and coordination support to the Technical Services department Job Description Administrative Support Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Technical Services / Engineering team Maintain and manage technical documentation, drawings, manuals, service records, and certificates Generate quotations for both technical labour and parts during breakdown and planned maintenance Prepare technical reports for the client Control filing systems (electronic and hard copy) to ensure document accuracy and version control Technical Documentation & Compliance Capture and update maintenance logs and service histories Assist with compliance documentation (e.g. safety files, statutory inspections, calibration records) Ensure documentation aligns with internal standards and regulatory requirements Track warranties, service agreements, and expiry dates Scheduling & Coordination Coordinate maintenance schedules, service visits, breakdowns and technical meetings Liaise with technicians, engineers, and suppliers Issue job cards, work orders, and follow up on completion and close-out Monitor turnaround times and escalate delays where required Procurement & Cost Control Prepare purchase requisitions and follow up on purchase orders Obtain and compare quotations for technical services, parts, and equipment Assist with invoice verification against work completed and quotations Support budget tracking and cost reporting for the department Communication & Customer Support Act as a point of contact between the technical department and internal/external stakeholders Respond to technical service queries and route them to the appropriate personnel Maintain professional communication with clients, suppliers, and service providers Qualifications Qualifications & Experience Matric (Grade 12) – essential Relevant administrative or technical qualification – advantageous 2–5 years’ experience in a technical, engineering, maintenance, or services administration role Experience in manufacturing, engineering, construction, or facilities management environments preferred Additional Information Key Skills & Competencies Strong administrative and organisational skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle technical terminology and documentation Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP or CMMS systems advantageous Aansoekproses: Stuur CV, en 2–3 verwysings.
