Description
SAIC is seeking a Technical Services Analyst to provide essential support to internal and external stakeholders including field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel. The Analyst is adept at troubleshooting and repairing Tactical Datalink(TDL) computer systems, TDL software, and networked and/or wireless systems. This role is critical in situations where first-line product support has been unable to resolve issues with malfunctioning equipment or software. This role will be ONSITE in San Diego, CA. JOB DUTIES: Respond to technical problems where first-line product support is unsuccessful. Report design, reliability, and maintenance issues to design and software engineering teams. May assist with customer installation and training. Offer high-level technical support directly to TDL customers with a technical background, particularly in systems-level software. Collaborate with product support teams and first-level resources to resolve complex customer issues. May require working in varied environments depending on the customer's location. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree and Two (2) years or more experience; 4 Years of experience in lieu of degree will be reviewed. Must have Active Secret Clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Demonstrated experience in a technical support role, dealing with complex systems. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. DESIRED SKILLS: Proficient understanding of Tactical Data Link (TDL) computer systems, software, and network troubleshooting. MIL-STD 3011 and LINK 16 experience. Certifications relevant to technical support (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA). Experience with wireless system troubleshooting. Sound RF Link 16, Mil-STD 3011, and knowledge. Ability to lift or move heavy equipment from time to time. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Clear communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Experience in applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
