POSITION OVERVIEW:

Are you the mechanical expert ensuring reliability at the plant? This Engineer is the key technical resource for plant engineering and maintenance personnel by providing significant engineering and maintenance experience and knowledge. This guru will proactively and creatively seek out, identify, implement, and document cost savings. The Engineer will also create favorable customer relations and collaborative working relationships between the customer maintenance staff and selected suppliers. Acting as a liaison between plant operations and maintenance, this Engineer works together on a team with other Engineers to actively identify, implement, and document cost savings while creating and sustaining customer relations and healthy working relationships between our employees and suppliers. THE SKILLS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR DIVERSE TEAM:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Progressive engineering work-related experience in the areas of maintenance manufacturing, managerial, or ability that would be a good addition for this environment.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools, such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Ability to read and interpret documents related to safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. when necessary.
• Experience in Machine Design and Build/Job Shop environment is a plus.
• Understanding of indirect materials, purchasing, inventory management, and calibration techniques/requirements is a plus.
