JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our fantastic team in Ireland supporting and assisting our customer and sales team in our Industrial Wood coatings division!
The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for assisting the Sales Manager and Sales Representatives by supporting our existing customers with technical issues and concerns and calling on prospective customers/target accounts and providing technical support.
This role covers the whole of Ireland so it is best for someone who likes to travel. Ideal for someone with paint or coatings experience, knowledge of technical applications and colour matching. We can also train this skills and we would welcome applications from people looking to grow in this business sector.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good understanding of, and experience in, the Irish and UK industrial wood coatings market
  • Technical support experience to major accounts (including auto-lines) in the coatings sectors
  • Good basic knowledge of coatings technology and curing processes
  • Ability to hand-spray all major coatings technologies.
  • Experience of working with automatic colour-matching systems
  • Willingness to develop and learn this industry
  • Excellent customer service
  • Ability to travel for the role (approx. 70% of the time)
