Description

Key Responsibilities:
The Technical Service Representative (TSR) plays a vital role in ensuring the operational readiness and maintenance efficiency of tools, systems, and armored vehicles at the RMC in Nisku. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, mechanical assembly/disassembly, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to users.

This position requires flexibility to work across multiple locations, including workshop and field environments, and may involve work outside regular hours and travels.

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including in-depth repair work on tools, systems, and armored vehicles.
  • Disassemble and assemble mechanical components in accordance with technical documentation.
  • Conduct fault analysis and diagnostic testing to resolve functionality issues.
  • Develop and improve maintenance plans and task execution.
  • Maintain accurate work logs, repair, and maintenance records.
  • Identify and report issues that may prevent vehicles from passing inspections.
  • Engage in ongoing technical training and professional development.
  • Share knowledge and skills with colleagues through on-the-job training sessions.

Requirements

  • Technical background in mechanical or electrical systems, preferably within CAF, defense, automotive, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Ability to interpret and follow technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Flexibility to work at different locations in Edmonton and occasionally beyond.
  • Willingness to work outside standard hours if required.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Must be eligible for and able to obtain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour
