Role Overview We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Services Officer based in Vietnam. This position delivers post-sale services at customer sites, ensuring customer satisfaction by advising and proposing solutions that favorably impact farm performance. Ideal candidate has the ability to collaborate and work with diverse stakeholders in a fast paced environment, has excellent analytical skills and fluent in both English and Vietnamese languages. You Will Grow PIC’s business by working alongside key account managers to provide customer-focused solutions that will improve their productivity and profitability. Participates as team member in key accounts where expertise is valuable in achieving customer’s plans and objectives Draft technical reports and discusses with customer/farm management to establish clear and agreed upon action plans and next steps to progress customer-centric goals Promote customer satisfaction through problem solving, clear and effective communications, professional appearance, and effective technical servicing Validate complaints or concerns raised by customers regarding animals delivered Provide training and development to customers’ key personnel Assist the Product Validation Team in collating proof of performance data from existing or prospect commercial farms to complete PIC product validation trials Establish effective professional relationships with industry professionals, business owners/managers and key personnel to enable PIC Account Plan objectives Requirements 3 to 5 years experience in swine medicine / production. Education: University Degree in Agriculture specializing in Animal Science, Animal Breeding; Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Strong technical background in the management of supply of quality breeding stock from the production pyramid as well as the effective service of customers throughout the pork chain is an advantage. Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to influence and drive improvements. Good analytical and problem solving skills. With high level of motivation and integrity, can work with minimum supervision Fluent in both English and Vietnamese languages Has the necessary permits to work in Vietnam Travel- 70-80%; Business Overview Genus is an agricultural biotechnology pioneer.
