Responsibilities
  • Leading and developing the Technical Professional Services (mainly Field Service Engineering) team in the country of responsibility to ensure high-quality technical support of the customers’ needs and expectations
  • Overseeing the business portfolio (SWA, NPC, M&TD) - preparing and coordinating the execution of operational action plans, installations/implementations, ensuring full coordination and alignment within the Professional Technical Services team and ensuring that the Roche instruments and systems in the local market are always up to date, well maintained and operating on the highest quality and reliability to help the customers to focus on patients and ensure reliable and fast diagnostics results
  • Ensuring that customers’/stakeholders’ needs are understood and guaranteeing their satisfaction as well as the productivity of the organization by developing, evaluating and implementing strategies to identify opportunities and improving service delivery
  • Managing and coordinating the delivery of operational services with respect to hardware, software, and applications for all eligible Hungarian customers and maintaining and prioritizing the team’s backlog, supporting the team in focusing on the tasks that are currently most impactful
  • Assigning the Primary Engineer, managing area allocations, coordinating resources, planning for resource expansion or reduction, reorganizing areas, and preparing on-call/weekend duty schedules and ensuring the availability of technical customer support during and outside working hours according to company standards
  • Coordinating projects with different scope, volume and complexity, taking an active role in and driving the assigned projects, being responsible and accountable for the project cycle from initiation to closure
  • Developing and executing project plans, gathering and fine tuning stakeholders’ expectations, defining project requirements, monitoring progress, ensuring a seamless transition, supporting the successful project implementation
  • Overseeing, monitoring, driving and executing the (more complex and key) implementation projects according to the business and project plans (e.g. site preparation, coordination and definition of technical requirements, installation of the system, test run, application of reagents, training of the customer, support of the routine start and handover to the customer
