Based in Columbus, the DaNite Sign Company team Designs, Fabricates and Installs signage packages for local, regional and national companies. We are looking for a Graphic Designer with industrial design experience to assist our clients with drawings that show what the signage will look like at the client’s location and that have the details necessary for fabrication.
Are you interested in helping business owners grow their businesses through new or improved sign packages? Come design signs that you will find in front of a business, on a building, inside a lobby or in a conference room. You will get the gratification of seeing signs you designed displayed around Columbus and surrounding communities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a full-time position for a creative and technical professional responsible for creating visually impactful and effective signage solutions for a wide range of applications, including businesses, public spaces, events, and vehicles.

Experience:

• Sign Designer, Technical Designer, or similar role: 1 year (Required

• Develop initial detailed technical design drawings and specifications for signage, ensuring compliance with client’s branding standards and engineering best practices. Adjust designs based on client feedback and project constraints.
• Consult with our sales team to understand the client’s needs, preferences, budgets and project timeline.
• Utilize a blend of artistic talent, technical proficiency in design software, and a strong understanding of structural design principles, materials, and production processes.
• Produce final layouts as required for fabrication and installation or detailed technical drawings that will be reviewed and sealed by an engineer.
• Conduct site visits (as needed) to assess signage placement and installation requirements.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure designs are fabricated correctly.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Stay informed about new technologies and materials in sign production.

• Are you Proficient in Corel Draw design software and have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs? Freehand 3D sketching skills to clearly communicate design concepts is a plus
