About the role

As a Technical Solution Engineer, you'll bring deep Salesforce expertise into the sales process, helping healthcare customers understand how our technology can solve their challenges and improve connected care.

Our products are built on Salesforce as Managed Package solutions, making deep, hands-on Salesforce platform expertise essential. You'll use this knowledge to design technically sound solutions, work effectively within the platform and confidently guide customers on what's possible.

Working alongside our Sales team, you'll lead technical discovery, shape solutions and bring them to life through demonstrations, prototypes and customer presentations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead technical discovery to understand customer needs, challenges and requirements.
• Shape solutions within our Salesforce-based Managed Package products.
• Create and deliver tailored demonstrations, prototypes and proofs of concept.
• Translate complex customer requirements into practical Salesforce solutions.
• Work with Sales and specialist teams to shape opportunities, estimates and implementation scope.
• Contribute technical expertise to tenders, proposals and customer presentations.
• Build trusted relationships with technical, senior and partner stakeholders.
• Create reusable demos and solution assets that strengthen our Salesforce capability.
• Represent Telstra Health at customer engagements, executive briefings and industry events.
• Share your technical expertise and support capability across the Solution Engineering team.

About You

• Deep Salesforce experience and expertise is essential, with strong hands-on knowledge of the Salesforce platform.
• Experience working with Salesforce Managed Packages and understanding how solutions are configured and extended within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience in Salesforce solution engineering, technical pre-sales, solution consulting or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong technical discovery and solution design skills within complex Salesforce environments.
• Hands-on experience creating demonstrations, prototypes or proofs of concept.
• Able to translate complex customer requirements into practical technical solutions and clear customer outcomes.
• Confident engaging both technical and senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working across Sales, Product, Technology and specialist teams to bring solutions together.
• Salesforce Health Cloud experience would be highly regarded.
• Healthcare, health technology or another complex industry would be advantageous.
