Position Summary:
Under the direction of, and in close collaboration with, the Head Coach, the Technical Specialist - Assistant Coach Swim Sprint will be responsible for working with varsity sprint swimmers, providing technical instruction during workouts. The role will also include supporting administrative tasks as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical instruction and motivation.
  • Design and implement training programs tailored to sprinters’ development and performance goals.
  • Be present at 5–6 workouts per week, ensuring consistent coaching and athlete support.
  • Attend all swim meets, offering on-deck coaching, race strategy, and performance feedback.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

  • Demonstrate solid knowledge in the swimming sport, specifically in sprint techniques
  • Previous experience in coaching sprint techniques is desirable
  • Able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends or evenings depending on team practices and swimming meets.
