In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping to establish a “Centre of Excellence for Construction” within AusNet Services. You’ll support the Project Management team, Design Partners, and Delivery Partners, while overseeing all HSE&Q aspects of preconstruction and on-site work throughout the project. You’ll also provide valuable feedback on any issues or constructability concerns to the Project Management team.
With a Hybrid split (Onsite/Office/WFH), this role is a permanent full-time position and is based in Southbank, Victoria and is part of the Field engineering Distribution team. This role will require travel, and you’ll be on the road as part of your responsibilities.

THIS ROLE WILL DELIVER REAL OUTCOMES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Onsite presents assisting delivery partner to succeed with a quality delivery
• Reviewing business cases
• Conducting technical tender reviews for delivery partners
• Providing design input for constructability and timelines
• Performing preconstruction site reviews and inspections, including documenting the work area for scope input
• Ensuring quality aligns with the design and Station Design Manual (SDM)
• Verifying that the delivery partner complies with site access and security requirementsAdvising the delivery partner on site setup and installation, following Work Safe guidelines and the SDM
