The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is one of six academic units in the Faculty of Engineering. Faculty and staff in the department support and foster the educational and research pursuits of undergraduate and graduate engineering students, while providing the best student experience. Experience:

• 2 years’ working experience in a related academic research environmen

• Coding experience
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act

The Technical Specialist will apply their expertise and knowledge to support all the functions within a laboratory or research project. The incumbent will oversee CFI Jelf lab equipment usage. The Technical Specialist will assist students with software updates and installations, and test the equipment before and after usage. Additionally, the incumbent will compile the manual and documentation for the equipment and coordinate equipment bookings.
Qualifications
