Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Men’s Hockey - Head Coach, the technical specialist Equipment Manager & Video Coach will be expected to assist the head coach in the implementation of performance and development initiatives as listed, that will help ensure the success of the hockey student-athletes. Expected to assist head coach with other related functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and distribute on-field team equipment
  • Preparation of game and practice equipment for the team
  • Record (video) activities during a game and keeping track of statistics
  • Analyze data and identify trends of game/team/athlete activity/competency during game and post game and prepare reports to head coach
  • Support coaching staff in the implementation of practice and game plans
  • The list of functions outlined above is representative and not a complete and detailed list of tasks which may be performed by an incumbent.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Level II NCCP certification or equivalent
  • Prior coaching experience at an elite/competitive level.
  • organized, punctual, team-oriented, hard worker
  • Successful background check required
