As a Carrier Field Engineer, you will be a pivotal technical expert, driving the successful adoption and integration of Apple technologies within our major Carrier partners and their enterprise clients. You will transform the way businesses operate by delivering innovative technical solutions and ensuring seamless integration of Apple's hardware, software, and services. DESCRIPTION What You'll Do:
Act as a primary technical and business consultant, collaborating closely with carrier partners to solve complex challenges and drive mutual success. Provide expert pre-sales support and strategic guidance, ensuring carriers are fully equipped to implement and champion Apple's enterprise ecosystem. Drive the adoption and scaling of strategic "Solution Plays" by engaging directly with carrier field leadership. Develop a deep understanding of carrier business objectives and technical roadmaps, translating these into actionable Apple strategies. Identify and remove technical barriers, streamline processes, and enhance partner readiness for new Apple platforms and services. Deliver comprehensive technical mentorship and enablement programs to thousands of carrier technical teams across the US, extending impact to their enterprise customers. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in a technical role, ideally within pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, enterprise architecture, or Product Management.
Exceptional ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for diverse audiences, from technical teams to executive leadership.
Profound understanding and experience with complex IT enterprise environments, including deployment strategies, security frameworks, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Zero Trust architectures.
Extensive background in mobile technology and solutions, encompassing:
Carrier network infrastructure (e.g., 5G, Private Networks, Network Slicing) Mobile Device Management (MDM) Advanced security solutions Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration within mobile ecosystems
Strong understanding of Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms and their role in scaling enterprise deployments.
Demonstrated success in advising on technical business transformation initiatives for large enterprises or in a consultative pre-sales engineering capacity.
A strong grasp of Apple's unwavering commitment to Security and Privacy, with the ability to articulate the inherent benefits of our integrated approach.
Strategic foresight to anticipate emerging industry trends and proactively identify growth opportunities with carrier partners.
Strong business acumen, including an understanding of financial drivers and strategic planning for sustainable growth. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
