Job Summary
We are hiring a skilled Technical Superintendent to oversee vessel technical management, maintenance, inspections, and dry-docking activities. The role requires strong technical knowledge of ship engineering systems and proven experience in managing fleet performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day technical operations of assigned vessels.
  • Plan and monitor scheduled maintenance, repairs, and dry-docking.
  • Conduct vessel inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage budgets for technical operations, including spares and repairs.
  • Coordinate with ship captains, crew, and external contractors for technical support.
  • Ensure compliance with classification societies, flag state, and international regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues to minimize vessel downtime.
  • Prepare reports on vessel performance, maintenance, and cost analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in ship technical management, engineering, or supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of vessel machinery, maintenance planning, and repair procedures.
  • Experience with dry-docking, inspections, and classification society requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Previous sailing experience as a Chief Engineer (preferred).
