HOW YOU CAN MAKE YOUR MARK
Make your mark as technical superintendent (TSI) within the Fleet Management department at Boskalis. The department provides technical support and the main focus is to keep the fleet in shipshape. This position requires you to be flexible and ready to address issues directly on-site, anywhere in the world, sometimes with little notice. Meaning that you could start your day at the Papendrecht office and that you are needed somewhere on a project in the afternoon. You don’t mind to travel on the spot!
We are looking for new colleagues to strengthen our seabed fleet team team. In this role you will specifically work with our new subsea rock installation vessel, the Windpiper. In addition to the general responsibilities as noted below, a few vessel (Windpiper) specific tasks can be mentioned:

YOUR QUALITIES
In the role of technical superintendent, it is essential to have the ability to work in a planned and independent way. You must have an eye for detail but you should certainly never lose sight of the bigger picture. On the basis of your extensive technical expertise and enthusiasm for high-end technical solutions, you can convince colleagues and stakeholders, and extend their knowledge.
Furthermore you need to have the following to make your mark as Technical Superintendent:
Experience with DP systems is a plus.
Experience with the offshore and dredging industry is a plus.
For the Windpiper, we are looking for a candidate who can commit him or herself for at least 3 years to the team and the vessel, 1 year assisting with conversion and 2 years supporting the vessel during normal rock installation operations.
The vessel conversion will most probably be carried out in Asia or Europe, the first 2 years of operation are expected to be in Europe. As an estimate, during the first 2 years, you can count on spending approx. 50% of your time abroad or on board, the 3rd year will require less traveling.
