What does the role include?

  • Offering great customer service to our customers to ensure that they feel valued and assured in the decisions they make and the service we provide.
  • Personal development, learning new skills and product knowledge.
  • Making and taking calls from our customers, solving technical problems.
  • Promoting a safe and friendly working environment.
  • Assisting the depot with daily workloads, to meet personal and team targets.

What Skills and Experience is required?

  • At Hughes we believe in developing and training our team members. Our business has been built on customer service. Whilst you may not have huge prior experience you will be guided, trained, and developed to provide the ‘Hughes Experience’
  • We recognize that not all customers and colleagues are the same and you will learn to tailor your approach to each situation.
  • A capability to learn new skills is required to build trust and rapport with every colleague and customer.
  • Flexibility when business needs and customer expectations change.
  • Listening and talking with customers so that you make sure their needs have been met and they will want to recommend us to friends and family

To be successful, you must have a friendly personality, willing to take on a variety of tasks, and be able to work as part of a flexible team. It’s important that you enjoy offering good customer service. Suitable candidates will be able to meet targets and possess relevant computer skills.
Full training will be given, with opportunities to continue to gain specialist knowledge, but experience with office applications is preferable.
