Description
Description Technical Support and Customer Service Representative ONSITE: St. Louis, MO Pay range: $ 26 -$28/hour Non-exempt Global Surgical Corporation, a part of the Trusted Dental Technologies brand — is a leading manufacturer of precision dental and surgical equipment, including world-class microscopes and optical systems used by clinicians around the globe. For more than 25 years, we’ve built our reputation on engineering excellence, reliable performance, and exceptional customer service. Today, as Trusted Dental, we continue that legacy with a renewed focus on innovation and customer experience — helping dental professionals deliver the best patient care possible. The Opportunity As a Technical Support & Customer Experience Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert helping dental professionals and our sales team troubleshoot, problem-solve, and succeed with our products. You’ll combine your technical know-how with exceptional communication skills to deliver a world-class support experience — one that’s as professional and precise as the products we build. If you love solving problems, supporting customers, and being part of a tight-knit, collaborative team, this role is for you. What You’ll Do Be the first point of contact for customers and sales reps via phone and email, resolving technical issues with Trusted Dental’s products. Troubleshoot mechanical, optical, and (occasionally) electrical systems — guiding customers with patience and clarity. Create an excellent customer experience every time — even when equipment isn’t working as expected. Support order management, product returns, and service requests through our internal systems. Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify root causes and develop solutions that prevent future issues. Keep detailed records of customer interactions, repairs, and service actions. Stay up to date on product updates, new releases, and troubleshooting techniques. What You Bring High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in a customer service, help desk, or technical support role. Strong computer literacy — including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and familiarity with ERP or MRP systems. Excellent communication skills — clear, calm, and professional on phone and email. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Curiosity and willingness to learn new products, systems, and technologies. A positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to helping others succeed. Bonus Points For Experience supporting mechanical or optical equipment (microscopes, imaging systems, or precision instruments). Understanding of basic optical or electrical concepts. Previous experience in the dental, surgical, or medical device industry. Why You’ll Love Working Here Meaningful work: Support technology that helps clinicians provide life-changing care. Collaborative culture: Partner with talented people across engineering, sales, and operations. Growth potential: Opportunities to expand your technical expertise and career path. Competitive pay & benefits: A stable, growing company that values its people. Physical Requirements Primarily a desk-based role with computer and phone use. Occasional movement around the production area for troubleshooting or collaboration. Light lifting (under 20 lbs) as needed. Equal Opportunity Employer Trusted Dental is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
