SERVICE ADVISOR/ TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Location: Aldershot
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum + pension
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Support/Service Advisor with strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills to join their friendly, established team based in Aldershot.
In this role, you will be part of a close-knit service department, handling and triaging enquiries, warranty claims, and technical advice via phone and email for both trade and end-user customers. Where issues cannot be resolved remotely, you will coordinate service engineer visits and ensure that the necessary spare parts are allocated efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle technical enquiries, warranty faults, and service requests via phone and email.
  • Diagnose issues remotely where possible and provide technical support.
  • Arrange for service engineers to attend customer sites when required.
  • Allocate spare parts and liaise with engineers to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Maintain excellent communication with customers, providing clear, empathetic, and professional support.
  • Work collaboratively within the service department and contribute to ongoing improvements.
