We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Support Engineer to provide hands-on support for Features, Verification & Validation (FVV) activities within product development. This role is based in an instrumentation lab environment and partners closely with engineering teams to support vehicle-level validation efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically capable, and comfortable managing lab equipment, supporting test activities, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment. Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day engineering technician support within the instrumentation lab Manage check-in and check-out of all lab equipment Serve as a super user for the internal asset management system Track, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation and test equipment Support engineers by preparing and delivering instrumentation per documented requests and schedules Prioritize and coordinate calibration activities based on project workload Interface with calibration and equipment vendors as needed Organize, label, and manage storage locations for test equipment Verify instrumentation functionality by following documented procedures Read, update, and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and data sheets Assemble connectors and repair wiring harnesses in accordance with company standards Perform soldering and operate required tools and equipment safely Maintain strong working relationships with engineering staff and stakeholders Support internal 5S and lab organization initiatives Use Microsoft Office tools to document, track, and communicate lab activities Qualifications: Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field Ability to work fully on-site in Greensboro, NC Basic electrical knowledge and hands-on technical aptitude Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Inventory management experience or familiarity preferred Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment Positive mindset, strong work ethic, and proactive, can-do attitude Previous experience with data loggers and measurement sensors is a plus The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
