We are looking for another dedicated, hard-working Technical Support Engineer to join our growing IT solutions company to help us provide top-class services to customers throughout Cornwall and beyond.
Formed officially in 2020, Carlyon Systems provides a wide range of first-class IT services to businesses in Cornwall, Devon, and as far as Bristol. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and customer service skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently using their initiative when needed.

This is a full-time position and will involve a wide variety of duties including:-

  • Helping to log and manage customer support tickets
  • Providing remote phone and on-site support to customers for the various systems used
  • On-site installation of new systems
  • Carrying out migration projects and liaising with third parties
  • Helping to develop internal systems

Any experience (even expertise) in the following would be very desirable:-

  • Windows Workstation and Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V etc)
  • Desktop, laptop, and server hardware
  • Cyber Security concepts, solutions
  • NAS products
  • Networking (Switches, Routers, WIFI and VPN etc)
  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune etc)
  • Computer security applications
  • Backup solutions for physical and cloud-based data repositories
  • RMM and ticketing systems

The role will primarily be based at our office in Bodmin, but home working along with visits to customer sites will also be involved.
Essentials: Full, clean UK driving license, DBS check clear.
All experience levels considered. Salary depends upon experience.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
