Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join a fully remote team based in Raleigh, NC, that provides outsourced IT support and managed services to small and mid-sized businesses across North Carolina.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER INCLUDE:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or a closely related role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/MacOS, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure, VPNs, firewalls, and printer troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with tools like ConnectWise Manage/Automate/ScreenConnect is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent at problem-solving and communication.
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various environments (Windows, MacOS, networking, cloud).
  • Provide remote and occasional onsite support to clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure clear, timely communication with clients and vendors.
  • Continuously improve technical and customer service skills through certifications and ongoing learning.
