For our customer in the telecommunications sector in Nuremberg, Düsseldorf or Munich we are looking for:

Technical Support Engineer (gn) - Smart PV

Your tasks

• Competently answering and qualifying customer inquiries by telephone and email regarding technical problems
• Independent error analysis and implementation of remote support (Level 2) for complex system errors that cannot be solved on site
• Close collaboration with engineering partners to localize errors in the development process as well as targeted forwarding of hardship cases to higher-level support
• Careful logging of all customer interactions and systematic documentation of standard solutions for recurring problems
• Conducting training for customers and partners on product features and system functionalities
• Exchange with software developers and product managers to incorporate customer feedback directly into product and service improvements

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical engineering/electronics), computer science/information technology or a comparable qualification
• Initial experience in the solar or photovoltaic industry (e.g. in technical service or commissioning) is a big plus
• Excellent technical and analytical skills as well as the ability to actively listen, ask targeted questions and qualify problems precisely
• Excellent communication skills, high self-motivation, team spirit and a goal-oriented way of working with the ability to act independently even with minimal guidance
• Fluent written and spoken German and English skills are mandatory
